The pandemic didn't just challenge the third sector—it redefined it. That period tested the very limits of resilience, but it also gave rise to new purpose. It was from this challenging, yet transformative, moment that Out of the Ashes Ltd. was forged. We were founded with a singular, clear vision: to empower charities and social enterprises to confidently turn uncertainty into opportunity across fundraising and project delivery.

Our journey began in July 2020. I was driven by a deep conviction to support organisations that create a tangible, visible difference. I witnessed the stark vulnerabilities charities faced, and that experience lit a crucial spark. I established this company to provide the expert guidance necessary to move organisations beyond merely surviving, and toward powerful, sustainable thriving.

We immediately focused on the most critical challenge: developing strategic fundraising narratives and expert bid-writing. This focus rapidly established our reputation for getting results. The demand for our commitment to growth was evident from day one—we reached full capacity within just two months of launch.

Today, Out of the Ashes is a Limited Company with a dedicated team of three professionals, each bringing a unique and valuable skillset to the table. Together, we are proud to have successfully raised over £1.5 million for charitable causes. This essential funding is the fuel that has enabled our clients to sustain their vital work and make a powerful, lasting visual impact on their communities.

I lead Out of the Ashes as the Managing Director and my credentials include an MSc in Conservation, a Professional Certificate in Charity and Social Enterprise Management, and Certified AGILE Project Management Practitioner status. My passion for the third sector and our staff commitment to excellence are the driving forces behind our success.
